For the sixth year in a row, Savannah-based Americana bands The Train Wrecks and The Accomplices Band join forces to put on a festive evening of homegrown music on Friday, December 16 at The American Legion Ballroom. This year, The Hypnotics and Austin Quattlebaum Music will also be on the bill. Doors open at 7pm and the concert kicks off at 7:30pm.
This year, the Homegrown Holiday Hoedown is proud to partner with Loop It Up Savannah, a local nonprofit organization that brings creative art experiences to children throughout Savannah as well as supporting families to make sure the basic needs of Savannah’s children are met with consistency and love. Please bring an item of need for Loop It Up!
– New art supplies (watercolor paints, kids scissors, glue sticks, acrylic paint, paint brushes)
– Canned goods or other non-perishable foods
– Gift cards for grocery stores or Home Depot
– New children’s shoes, socks and underwear
– New or gently used children’s sweaters, jackets/coats, and bookbags
– New toys
Art supplies collected at the event will support Loop It Up Savannah’s arts programming in over 30 locations throughout the city. Food, clothing, gift cards, and toys will be shared with the families that we serve to make sure everyone is warm and well fed throughout this holiday season and beyond.
